Rob Sherber
Robert Sherber started his musical journey with bass lessons at the age of 14. By the age of 16, his career as a professional musician was launched when he started playing in local ensembles. Robert attended Dillard School of the Arts and was a member of the school’s Commercial Music Ensemble. In 2005, he was hired by legendary TK recording artist Clarence Reid, which led to six tours of the U.S. and Canada, including performances at the CMJ Music Conference and SXSW festival.
In 2010, Robert performed in Australia and New Zealand with Mr. Reid as part of the Big Day Out festival. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from FIU in 2016, Robert was hired as an instructor at School of Rock. The summer of 2017 found Robert completing his second tour with blues guitarist Joel Dasilva, which included performances at the Montreal and Mont Tremblant Blues and Jazz festivals.
